PLEASE NOTE: I originally acquired this brake set without any gum hoods and was content to leave it that way for quite some time. A couple of years ago, however, I had the opportunity to purchase a pair of reproduction (...some might argue that they are counterfeit, but I reason that so long as no misrepresentation takes place, that ugly term is unwarranted) "World Logo" gum hoods which were produced in small quantities and decided to throw a pair onto these otherwise naked brake levers. Let there be NO misunderstandings, as the hoods depicted herein are NOT originals, but rather, a set of very high quality knock-offs. Maybe you can tell the difference, and maybe you cannot, and maybe it does not even matter to you as you contemplate purchase of this brake set. Regardless, I ask that you please make your decision, whatever it may be, knowing right up front the whole truth in this regard.
