Saddle - 03
SADDLE:
Ideale 90 - Tan leather cover - copper rivets with Ideale logo - post 1973 chrome plated steel frame and rails - cutaway nose with partially exposed tension adjusting cap - post 1973 and pre 1980 "Selection Tricolore Course" or STC sticker located on underside of cantle plate - model 90A Competition Speciale ... [Correct as original, although the exact coloration of Ideale saddles did vary as well as the manner of protective coating on their frame rails - both of these circumstances occurring for no particular reason that I have ever been able to fathom other than Crescent likely used whatever was available at a given point in time. It might be worthwhile to note that according to Crescent sales literature, Pepita model 320 bicycles imported and sold here Stateside in those years immediately prior to 1974 would have been fitted with an Ideale model 52 Speciale leather saddle and not the 90A Competition Speciale model seen here.]
