Binder Bolt

BINDER BOLT:
Custom - seat post binder bolt - aluminum alloy piece parts - 35 mm SHCS connector - 13 mm hex head nuts / 5 mm Allen key drive side release ... [I had actually intended to utilize an O.M.A.S. binder bolt in keeping with the numerous other O.M.A.S. components and individual bits used in the reconstruction of this bicycle, however, that choice proved unsuitable once I realized the decidedly undersized nature of the aperture in the "ear" holes found at the back of its Cinelli type CSM seat lug. Indeed, this bicycle originally came fitted with a chrome plated Allen key hex release bolt and corresponding knurled insert nut which Pino had obviously pilfered from some handlebar stem and then cleverly adapted to serve in a "new" capacity. In the end, I managed to cobble together the all alloy binder bolt you see here using individual pieces procured from my spare parts bin.]
