BRAKE LEVERS:
Campagnolo Super Record (modified) - traditional non-aero cable routing - dark Grey colored anodized aluminum alloy bodies - post 1973 "long arm / short reach" "drillium" style aluminum alloy levers with "rounded point" profile and "U" shaped cable relief opening - Clear anodized finish (removed) - custom drilled holes along the lower edge of the lever blades - a trio of custom milled vertical slots along the face of the lever blades - custom milled triangular openings on the sides of the lever blades - pre 1983 cable holder ends marked "BREV. CAMP." - pre 1983 "integrated pivot" style brake lever mounting post clips marked "BREV. CAMPAGNOLO" - pre 1983 chrome plated lever pivot pins - model 4062 : Campagnolo gum hoods - pre 1984 "world" logo - model 2039 ... [Another period correct upgrade which has been further modified by "drillium specialist" extraordinaire Jeff Rumbold of Oak Harbor, Washington to suit my own tastes. And while all those extra "holes" and "slots" in the lever blades themselves may not make these units appreciably lighter, they do look decidedly "cool" and the resulting variegated surface does afford both a better grip and resulting tactile control for purposes of speed modulation when compared to the Campagnolo Record model 2030 standard levers which would have normally been fitted as original equipment on a Graftek G-1 sold as a "complete" bike. I should also probably mention that it was personal preference that prompted me to add the decorative Black paint infill now seen on the front of these Campagnolo brake lever blades as well as inside all of the various "holes" and "slots" that adorn same.]
