Regis Ovion (1977)

Amateur World Champion in 1971 (...besting a young Freddy Maertens who came in second), Regis Ovion managed a more-than-respectable tenth place overall finish in the 1973 edition of the Tour de France. Ovion did cross the finish line ahead of all others during the 13th stage of the 1976 Tour de France, but his name was stricken from the books after he failed a mandatory drug test.
