Bernard Thevent, wearing the Maillot Tricolore of the François le Championnat (...the French National Champion jersey), riding through the rain and hail just ahead of Luis Ocana during stage 7b (Aspro-Gaillard - Méribel-les-Allues) of the 1973 Tour de France. While Thevenet would cross the finish line first during this particular stage, it would be Ocana who would ultimately prevail at the end of the competition, winning the general classification of the 1973 Tour by almost 16 minutes over second place Thevenet.
