Atom 600 - quill style pedals - Cr/Mo spindles - aluminum alloy spindle housings / date code marked 03-79 on the spindle barrels (...very discrete and near impossible for my eyes to read without benefit of a magnifying glass) - Black colored steel cages with rear kick tab / pre 1981 "tall cage" profile - pre 1979 aluminum alloy "slotted" dust caps - 9/16" x 20 TPI thread - model 600 N ... [Quantity 1 pair - USED - good overall condition with minor evidence of "road rash" to be found on the left side pedal dust cap and quill - unlike later editions, this early version of the Atom 600 actually incorporates more robust outbound bearings in a configuration similar to its upmarket Maillard 700 cousin - and while the style of dust cap actually predates the actual date code stamped into the barrels of these pedals, only the most anal retentive person is likely to notice (...is that last statement self incriminating, or what?)]
