<------------------ SOLD ------------------> WEYLESS pedals - "tour" profile cages (USED)
Weyless pedals - quill style - chrome plated Cr/Mo axles - one-piece machined aluminum alloy bodies - Black anodized replaceable / interchangeable aluminum alloy cages (touring style in this instance) - precision stainless steel annular sealed bearings - 9/16" x 20 TPI thread - 6 mm hex mounting through backside of the crank arms - model W-PR ... [Quantity 1 pair - USED - definite evidence of use to be found on both the cages and bodies - slight disfiguration to the Right side cage at its quill end (...this can certainly be addressed by removing same from the body and carefully re-working the aluminum using tinkers tools) - chrome plating on the axles exhibits light fading in spots - bearings spin effortlessly on the Right pedal and "serviceably" on the Left, but those may well need to be replaced at some point in the not too distant future - generally acknowledged as being one of the most elegant, and most assuredly known to be one of the lightest from this era, the Weyless licensed and branded version of what was originally a Bob Reedy pedal design was a highly functional and yet esoteric bit of bike jewelry back in 1976 when it was first introduced to market, and it has only become more so with the passing of time - the innovative "X" body ultimately spawned several imitators (...most notably perhaps being the SunTour Superbe Pro of 1980) and was cleverly engineered to accommodate any one of a series of three interchangeable and easily replaceable styles of pedal cages including track, road, and touring specific versions]
