Bernard Thevenet (1970)

Bernard Thevenet made an auspicious Tour de France debut in 1970, as he is seen riding here up the Tourmalet during the mountainous 135.5 kilometer stage 18 (Saint Gaudens-La Monique) which he would win that year. In the end, Thevenet finished his first Tour at a more than respectable thirty-fifth place overall in the general classification.
