Seat Post - 02
SEAT POST:
3ttt Criterium (modified) - one piece cast aluminum alloy construction with fluted shaft and "limit line" - T6 heat treatment with polished finish - Black anodized headstock and decorative flutes - one bolt single pivot clamp - 25 mm offset - 180 mm x 27.2 mm - model Criterium RSCAL : O.M.A.S. seat post hardware - Black anodized aluminum alloy - M8 x 40 mm SHCS - model 177 ... [While this particular Pino Morroni was furnished having a Gipiemme Sprint model 600SB seat post consistent with all of its other original Gipiemme components, I have elected to instead mount a modified 3ttt Criterium seat post not only because I believe it to be a perfect complement to the 3ttt Competizione Superleggero saddle and handlebars selected for use here but also because this is a truly top quality piece of cycling equipment that was current production for the year 1983 and one which just so happens to suit the overall aesthetic I sought given its highly polished aluminum finish with Black anodized accents. These seat posts offer a simple and yet incredibly secure single bolt micro adjusting pivot clamp and were made available in a complete range of sizes from 25.0 mm through 27.2 mm. The only potential drawback with respect to consideration for selection might be the fact that 3ttt Criterium seat posts from the early 1980’s were only produced in a single overall length of 180 mm and are, therefore, inappropriate for applications requiring a taller post.]
