TYPE:
12 speed - "lightweight" road / race type - 1977 model Prestige - serial number 272162 ... [The 1977 M.S.R.P. for a Mondia Super in factory original state was $860 USD - but that model was not equipped with either a Campagnolo Record brakeset or bar end shifters (...to add those as seen here, it would have cost an additional minimum of $60 and $10 respectively). For purposes of perspective, those figures would equate to base retail prices of approximately $3021 USD for the Super or $3267 USD for the Prestige to include those extra Campy options - both numbers cited having been cost adjusted for inflation using a benchmark of 2008 dollars.]

[Correct and original, with the exceptions of the Reynolds 531 decal on the seat tube which is correct as original after having been replaced with an NOS version of same, and the Red with Black outline and Gold shadow "MONDIA" decals appearing either side of the exposed chrome center section of the seat tube as these are reproductions of my own creation based upon remnants of the dilapidated originals.]
