<------------------ SOLD ------------------> Spidel Simplex SLJ 4164-A seat post - 26.6 mm (USED)
Simplex SLJ - two piece cast aluminum alloy construction - Clear anodized fluted shaft with horizontal stitching - Clear anodized headstock - two bolt bifurcated single pivot clamp - 27 mm offset - 240 mm x 26.6 mm - model SLJ (Super Lucien Juy) 4164-A extra-légère (Spidel branded) ... [USED - good state with the typical insertion marks that one would associate with a used item extending 110 mm upward from its lower extremities (...leaving 120 mm above that point relatively unblemished excepting some light markings along its backside that look much worse in the photographs than in reality) - should one be so inclined, all of these imperfections are nominal enough such that you could easily remove the anodized clear coat of the post portion itself and then polish it up nicely (...re-anodizing things thereafter should you chose to replicate its original finish) - there are also minor markings to be found along the seat clamp fittings - the Spidel badging at the front of the headstock is just starting to curl at its left lower corner, but this can be remedied with a simple drop of cement … OR … should you prefer, I will include at no extra charge a brand new reproduction Simplex decal which can be applied in its stead (...sorry, I have no replacement Spidel stickers) - apropos a late 1970’s Peugeot PY-10 or other Reynolds 531 SL metric tube bike, the long version of the particular seat post seen here is REALLY difficult to find in good condition or better]
