Simplex SLJ - shift control levers - retro-friction type design - down tube mount - 28.0 mm chrome plated steel clamp - post 1977 "open hoop" style aluminum alloy levers - Clear anodized finish - model SLJ (Super Lucien Juy) 5007... [USED - a hint of oxidization to be found on the clamping band, most notably along the left side of its top ridge, as well as along the edges in the slots of the tension adjusters - only the most minor of artifacts to be found on the aluminum levers themselves - I have only recently disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled this component such that it is ready to provide years of trouble free use - generally acknowledged as the best all around down tube friction shifters ever marketed to the general public, these are the post 1977 "open hoop" style second edition]
