<------------------ SOLD ------------------> MAFAC 429 brake levers - aluminum bodies - post 1979 (USED)
MAFAC Professionnel 429 - racing type brake levers - traditional non-aero cable routing - post 1976 integrated cable adjusters having a "knurled gum hood" - post 1979 standard aluminum alloy bodies - "full style" translucent gum hoods - factory "drilled" Clear anodized aluminum alloy levers / post 1979 with 30 hole (15 holes per side) lever blades / post 1979 "wide" profile lever blades - patented stainless steel mounting clips / pre 1980 solid band marked "Breveté SDGD" - model Course 429 ... [Used - very good condition with only a hint of actual use evident on the lever blades themselves (...I have seen NOS versions that were worse for shop wear) - those gum brake hoods are actually NOS items ... BUT ... one of them is just starting to tear along both sides at its bottom where the lever blade bites into it (...my suggestion would be to use a drop of Loctite Prism 406 to stop the tears dead in their tracks - it’s an easy fix) - I have personally tuned these brake levers so as to minimize any trigger resistance (...a pet peeve of mine), so that they now quite literally "fall open" when subjected to but the slightest effects of gravity - a great buy at this price]
