<------------------ SOLD ------------------> Simplex LJ 1000 T/SP rear derailleur (NOS)
Simplex LJ - double spring articulated design - Black Dupont Delrin upper and lower housing - Clear anodized forged aluminum alloy pivot arms - Gold metal badge with stylized "Simplex" logo in Black on outer pivot arm - chrome plated steel "flat face" pivot bolts without markings - chrome plated steel pulley cage plates with chain guide - chrome plated steel pulley axles - ten tooth bushing style pulley wheels - 14 to 30 tooth freewheel capacity / 38 to 52 tooth chain ring capacity / 30 tooth maximum total capacity - 245 grams - model LJ (Lucien Juy) 1000 T/SP ... [NOS (...kinda) - this particular derailleur came to me as an NOS component for sure, but it was missing its pulley wheels - lacking any spare NOS Simplex pulley wheels, I have mounted a pair of very lightly used ones - these Delrin bodied Simplex rear derailleurs actually perform quite well, at least until you run them through a mud puddle or two or otherwise introduce sand and grit into their pivot points - then it is only a matter of time before the ensuing abrasion wreaks havoc upon their performance capabilities (...unless you are fastidious in cleaning your bike after every wet weather ride) - extremely unusual to find in NOS (...kinda) state]
