<------------------- SOLD ----------------> Sachs Maillard 700 freewheel - narrow 7 speed / 12-21 - English thread (USED)
Sachs Maillard 700 Compact freewheel - 12/21 (12-13-14-15-17-19-21) narrow 7 speed for use with 126 or 132 mm OLD rear hub spacing - 27 mm splined removal interface (...uses Campagnolo 9/10s lockring removal tool like a Park FR-1) - 1.370" x 24 TPI English thread - 3x2x2 stepped body - three notch slip fit cogs / threaded locking cog / duplex threaded cog pair - model 700 Compact ... [USED - this freewheel is Advance Rider Index System (ARIS) compatible, utilizing Rapid Grip and Shift (RGS) individual cog tooth profiles, where the individual cogs are hardened steel with nickel plating - it is an extremely low mileage unit in excellent condition, exhibiting only negligible wear to the individual teeth - still, I have thoroughly disassembled and serviced this freewheel and the cogs themselves have now been assembled "dry" and "loose" for purposes of long term storage (...i.e. without benefit of anti-seize compound which I would HIGHLY recommend for those four threaded cogs prior to actual use) - a great vintage freewheel with individual tooth profiles that allow it to arguably engage a chain better than any of its contemporaries (...you never need envy indexed shifting with this freewheel, even in a friction mode - but yes, it is also compatible with ARIS and other indexed systems]
