Sneak Peek - Debut at the 09/25/2011 WTF Swap Meet

Photograph of 1978 Peugeot PY-10 CP taken inside my workshop after having completed a quick build up prior to hauling this work-still-in-progress out to the September 25th swap meet held at WTF Bikes in Portland, OR. (...no, the bicycle itself was decidedly not offered for sale - it was merely brought along as a conversation piece and/or eye candy, but I did have more than a few vintage bits that were made available for purchase).

Before I go about threading the drive chain, installing the brake and derailleur cables, wrapping the handlebars with tape, etc., I need to mount this bike up onto the trainer so that I can properly calibrate the saddle height and tilt as well as the handlebar angle and optimal brake lever location. For purposes of expediency in readying it for the swap meet, I merely slapped these things together based upon approximation. Once I have everything dialed in and the bicycle is truly complete, I will be taking lots more photographs of it as well as its various piece parts and posting those images herein.
