Jacques Esclassan (1975)

Jacques Esclassan is seen here crossing the finish line in triumph at the end of the 1975 Critérium National, a prestigious two day stage race which at the time was only open for entry to French riders. Esclassan was the third successive member of the Peugeot-BP-Michelin team to capture a win in this event, following the success of Jean-Pierre Danguillaume in 1973 and Bernard Thevenet in 1974.
