Michel Laurent (1980)

A publicity card from 1980 showing Peugeot-Esso-Michelin team rider Michel Laurent. Perhaps worthy of mention for those who are inclined to note such details, the particular PY-10 bicycle shown in this photograph has a very unusual head badge, the meaning and/or explanation for which I simply cannot provide at this time other than to speculate that it may be a photograph of the rider himself. This head badge appears to be unique to Laurent’s bike and its presence can clearly be seen not only on his individual publicity card but also the Peugeot-Esso-Michelin team photograph from this same year.
