SRAM - 1/2" x 3/32" (12.7 mm x 2.38 mm) narrow profile - nickel plated finish - bushingless design with inner floating link - chamfered plates - cross step riveted - chrome hardened pins - model PC68 : SRAM PowerLink connector ... [A decidedly modern and unoriginal component. According to the original owner, the Sedisport chain that I removed from this bike upon purchase was itself a replacement chain (...which only stands to reason since the Sedisport bushingless design was not introduced until 1978 - almost a year after this bike would have been sold new). Inasmuch as my intention is to ride this bike with some degree of regularity, I took the practical approach of fitting a contemporary drive chain, albeit one which can trace its lineage directly from the Sedis Delta that was likely original equipment.]
