[Various versions of Peugeot logo water bottles were offered through the years, and in fact, several of those overlapped with one another relative to their respective dates of availability - all of which makes exact dating in retrospect something of a difficult academic exercise. The earliest documentation of which I am aware depicting the particular version seen here dates from 1970, while the latest such example known to me personally would come from 1979 (...and if someone else out there has incontrovertible proof of their production outside of that timeframe, I invite your considered input). In any event, this type of official Peugeot issue bidon would be both contemporary and proper for this bicycle given the understanding that it would not have been automatically included within the scope of a custom order PY-10 CP, but rather, only made available as an accessory purchase.]
